November 05, 2024 Election Information
Board members began being elected by district in the November 2024 election.
There are five Board members and Board members serve a four-year term with no limits.
To qualify, a candidate must be a registered voter of Poplar. To become a registered voter of Poplar one must reside within the town limits, be at least eighteen years of age, and register to vote with Tulare County Elections Office.
All five current Board Members will serve as at-large Board members until the end of their current terms. At the end of their terms, the Board members can run for re-election by district if they live in a district up for election at that time.
